Disadvantages: gigandet.com websites and are gigandet.ch when I write these lines, with no real content. So how I look with the supply of spare parts? Many Revival watches that are offered primarily through Ebay and Amazon (and rarely found to never have the jeweler) have exactly this problem. Owner of the .com website is a shop that sells watches on the internet ...
My personal tip is so, such Revival watches (where an old Swiss brand name with some unclear company background and using Japanese standard works and international assembly) to buy at a price at which you after a few years, it should not be repaired can, shrugs his shoulders, takes the purchase to regret. The price range in the net found by me was the time of my purchase 70-360 euros, my pain threshold lays somewhere around 100 euros.
As a solid reference in the (mechanical) 100-Euro Class I recommend 100% Japanese watches Seiko brand Orient to have said exactly the "Mako" -Diver series, also here at Amazon favorable. Which are fixable in each case.
I already had a few Orient and wanted the chic green Gigandet also have and the price was right.
Note: The clock has a screw-down crown, the back once to be screwed to the body, which irritates many Diver newbies. And the date is as with all mechanical watches stubborn 1-31, so you have to adjust with fewer days on the date quick adjustment in some months. The latter irritates some friends of intelligent Casio LCD watches ;-) And just be aware that a mechanical clock never has the precision of quartz and that one (a few hours during the day about) must carry an automatic right regularly so that it passes through permanent (power reserve fully wound over 40 h).
One point deduction due to unclear situation at least repair after the warranty period, see. Missing the manufacturer's website
