Action, police investigation, suspense, friendship, brotherhood, love, passion with a peak of eroticism: that which pretty well sums up this thriller / romance. The story is compelling and addictive, writing is fluid, the plot is well put together, the suspense is present and the action is well conducted. All the romance elements are there too: engaging characters, patient and protective hero as passionate as gentle with the woman he loves, strong and fragile heroine at a time, a beautiful love story as passionate and poignant. By cons, early history is long to start, the author turns too around the bush and suddenly his characters spend their time doing "two steps forward and three steps back", therefore (initially) the romance loses intensity and history becomes daunting and frustrating. It'll that the author makes up later (from the third book). It remains to see what it offers its readers and provides for his characters in Volume 2 ... In summary, this story should be well suited to romance fans amid action and suspense.
