Last year could not fully convince me Rick Ross' Port of Miami. The competition was too strong enfach (DMX, Busta Rhymes) ... But now Rick Ross has made a name with his style and his many 'construction' and 'Out' on mix tapes and remixes. When I ran through the album again today, I was finally convinced. The known hard rap tracks at the beginning of the CD are still not the strongest thing I've ever heard but overall the disc sounds just great. Much R & B, beautiful melodies, pleasant voice and the many hooks especially Pots and Pans, where Lyfe Jennings sings about the crack in the cooking collaborations Hit U From The Back, Cross That Line, and as if he were doing a cake for the children Birthday are to bake just superb. So the musical content of the plate is worth full 5 stars, the lecture by Rick Ross 4 and for partially penetrating insistence on the Coke Game I'll give also 4 stars. Nicely that's again make the end a few hardcore hammer for Credibility. Jay-Z on Hustlin '(Remix) and Lil' Wayne on I AM AG stand out really great. Rick Ross does not try to stink against the superstars like that. He raps confident his parts and can otherwise superstars its luster. This is what makes his music even better. Nix for eternity, but a beautiful and above all entertaining loose flaky summer album anyway.
