The picture quality is not great, but adequate for my applications (inspection of cavities in the home improvement sector). The head fits easily through an 8 mm borehole. The lighting is too bright at close range rather than dark, but can be reduced with a control dial on the cable. For this, however, it takes a bit of tact, since a small rotational movement already has passed through the entire adjustment range of light to full brightness.
Conclusion: The endoscope is absolutely great for this fight price and served its purpose.
