The UJ260 replace a defective drive in my ASUS G75VX and purrs like a kitten there now. At the drive as expected all major rear threaded holes for fixing the laptop bay. The front panel easy to change and equal to risk the first drive damage.

A note to the defect of its predecessor. An acquaintance, who works as an engineer in this field, has informed me that one should be placed no CD / DVD in the laptop drive as a user, as they are known to be firmly connected to the axis. You transport the laptop now, this is inevitably exposed to shocks or G-forces acting laterally on the drive axle. Put a CD / DVD created because sometimes imposed, not lead to fracture of the axle, but change the situation so that an error-free scanning is no longer possible. That's what happened with me.
