Have installed in the PC of my daughter this SSD. Win7 Professional has been installed and set up two partitions (50/70). Whether that makes sense or not remains to be seen. Based on my experience with, I think very fast, "Samsung MZ-7PC128B / WW 128GB SSD" (80GB Win 7Prof and 40GB Ubuntu 12:04). I thought this was a good decision for the PC. So fast is the SanDisk SSD already but on the performance of the Samsung it is not enough by far ran. Ok. for their own purposes, it is sufficient, however, I would have felt this AND measured speed difference is not expected. The San Disk boots the newly launched Windows 7 in about 27 sec. While the Samsung SSD still starts in just 17 seconds after 2 1/2 years. The measured values, which unfortunately I have not quoted from SanDisk, the result compared with the Samsung SSD also made visible. The documents, as far as I remember at about 320 in the overall result. I think these values are not really good for a SSD. Bad were the 4K values; here there was a total collapse. For comparison, I have set the benchmark of my 128GB Samsung SSD.
Otherwise: Fast delivery. Smooth and fast Win 7 Instzallation. And the SSD does their service. It really is only 2 weeks in use. Think that value for money is ok.
