This compilation includes 16 well-known singles the Irish band and 2 new songs. Since U2 had released to date, over 40 singles, could only go wrong on a compressed 1 CD Hits Collection. For beginners it is still a great thing. You get here in particular to listen to the radio-friendly songs - everything that falls under the table, is remarkable. The collection begins with "Beautiful Day", one of the strongest and biggest U2 anthems of 00s. Other classics include "I still have not found what I'm looking for", "With or without you", "Pride", "Sunday Bloody Sunday" and "One". Given the sometimes abstruse order, it is noteworthy that especially the oldies from the 80s is still the brightest rays. Slick production was then fortunately not the cause of U2. The hits have therefore lost none of its magic. The hardcore fan has plenty to complain about. What must follow (the feeling hurricane "With or Without You") to the best U2 song can only lose, especially when it comes to an average song called "Vertigo". Although here almost only highlights of the U2 discography are otherwise represented, it is a pity that the albums "Boy", "October", "Zooropa" and "Pop" as well as various non-album singles ("A celebration") and soundtracks ("Hold me, thrill me, kiss me, kill me") have been omitted. No. 1 hits like "The Fly" and "Discotheque" or Experimental as "Lemon" and "Mofo" One searches in vain - to 'departed' for a Perception CD as "18 Singles". Instead of the romantic drama "All I Want Is You" and the epic single version of "Please" again "Stuck in a Moment". At least from "Elevation" and "Walk on" should have been the very successful draufpacken single shots. Newcomers get this CD a clear, albeit incomplete insight into the work of this exceptional band. For fans there is a bonus moderate Green Day Collabo and the pretty "Window in the Skies" at the end. Highlights: With or without you; New Year's Day; Mysterious Ways; One; Walk on; Sometimes you can not make it on your own
