Unfortunately, my criticisms have much greater impact on (at least my) game:
The delay in shot / pass did not work, in particular the extended and the manual firing mode are therefore completely useless. In this regard, one can, however, still expect improvements by a patch.
Even worse, I find the influence of the CPU on the controlled by me players. The walkways are extremely scripted, which has in particular on the defensive often fatal consequences. To all the innovations to integrate (new graphics, natürlürliche motion sequences, influence the center of gravity), the whole game looks completely CPU-directed. The feeling of "direct control" and so that what PES has always been excellent, is completely fallen by the wayside. While playing I feel constantly ripped off by the CPU. With the great football simulation, which emerged at the millennium of ISS, which has nothing to do.
I run with the ball alone on the opponent's goal to reach no 20 m ahead, because the CPU slows down my Speiler so extreme from that I'm caught up and forced the defenders to use the sensational, new system "physical exertion with right stick" , If the answer to the much criticized Konami and simple "Pass Through" tactic: a long ball to Van der Mirch-shot goal?
The reaction time of the player going for. T. infinity. For example, create defender after a rebound from the goalkeeper is not a step towards ball to run and to clarify the situation. In general, the players seem very cumbersome and slow.
After a Master League season is for me only times conclusion with PES 2014. I probably will - for a long time - again FIFA play (at least other).
One wonders what Vollpfosten have tested the game for various magazines and online-reports - there are really important criticisms are never taken up.

UPDATE AND SUMMARY 04.10.2013:
Direct comparison with FIFA14 wins PES despite all the criticism still clearly. Also I try again and again to give the game a try, but it just will not pose any joy to me. Thus, I will in the upcoming winter season turn to other sports games (z. B. Fight Night :)
-------------------------------------------------- -
POSITIVE
- Graphics
- Animations, direct throw-ins and free kicks
- Partially true great, realistic Bewegeungsabläufe (duels, trips, etc.)
- Flanklen and headers (offensive)
- Ball Physics
- Running paths of other players can be super control with LB
- Atmosphere
- Tactical Options
-------------------------------------------------- -
NEUTRAL
- Good approach to control the center of gravity and duel lead with RS (but by no means mature).
-------------------------------------------------- -
NEGATIVE
- To integrate the innovations in the game and to ensure a certain degree (apparent) realism, the CPU accesses permanently into the control of their own players
- In order to give room for the planned attacks COM opponent, the paths of the defensive players are so penedrant scripted that I tend as many years supporters of the football simulation to throw the controller against the wall
- Individuality of player: unlike 2013 which player is as good as not just felt on the ball
- Defensive behavior in attacks on the wing underground
- Delays (not only, but especially) felt in extended / Manual Shooting Mode
Bringing entirely unclear what partly is necessary to free players from their state of shock / for sprinting: inertia -.
- In simple mode shot mostly incomprehensible, where the ball is placed
- Again sporadically problems Competitions
- Menu navigation and music (as bad as ever)
- Referee and commentators deteriorated compared to 2013
- Changes already in standards - why only ??? Just maintaining the classic PES beams and done!
- Positioning the goalkeeper and dilettante rival defense
About missing licenses and rain, bad referees and commentators, stuttering, minor bugs and the gruesome menu I like to see across. However, the intervention of the CPU in the control of my players robs the game the PES typical sense of free, direct control and a good deal of fun. If Konami boasts, the game is a soccer simulation and thus lift itself from the competition, I can expect to be able to move the player with the speed I want to stay in the set direction I at the very least.
