The Sennheiser Momentum On-Ear simply looks great, no question, but it also sounds just as good? No, unfortunately not. After 48 hours, importing and impressions of the ear pads, the out-of-the-box were very hard (+ high pressure), it was time to test. What can I say so perfect and so to detail of these headphones is processed, you can not tell from the sound unfortunately. The KH sounds mid and bass emphasized. On my Yamaha electric piano I could find out the weaknesses of this KH very quickly. The bass is distorted, especially at very low frequencies, the piano sound is not at all true to life, playing with these KH sounds like a detuned acoustic piano on. That Keyboard Monitoring are not the purpose of this KH, is quite clear, but I'm still challenging for these KH test to reveal the weaknesses. Listening to compressed MP3s with this KH, you realize less adulterated by sound. Overall, these are quite strong gesoundet KH, with slightly accented bass and mids. Those looking for clean sound, is clearly wrong here. The ambient noise is minimal, you can hear the environment still good. A comparison with the plastic scrap with the b, the grumbles to headphones, would be an insult, which I just can not expect Sennheiser. Here you get to the current price of 150 Euro impeccable, quality workmanship and a relatively good, but overall only average sound. The quality, save the exchangeable cables and comfortable earpads Alcantara evaluation. A total of 4 star.
