Shareefa Cooper was born in New Jersey is a member of DTP Records since 2005. Now we finally have a debut album, and indeed a real strong debut! The two singles "Need a Boss" with Ludacris and "Cry No More" are richtiige Burner and one of my "evergreens", which means I have to hear it constantly and never enough get it. Also well done are the ballads "Assumptions", "Fevah" and "U Told Me". Where "Fevah" and "Assumptions" somehow so right old '60s soul remember. The song "Phony", that spreads very good mood, is about a broken friendship and in "How Good Love Feels" sings Shareefa, how nice it is to have just fallen in love. "No one said" is a great, light and very beautiful R'n'B track, as is typical for DTP. But we can highlight yet "Butterfly", with a spectacular long chorus at the end and a great bridge, and "Hey Babe" with Bobby Valentino, which is very catchy and really has a great sound.
I can especially every Soul fan this record to a friend!
