Republic Commando knows how to build a challenging difficulty and intense action suspense until the end. Whether on Geonosis or a Republican "ghost ship", the "middle" feeling is always present. The conversations of the crew members (partly black with a little humor), excellent sound design and good (but a bit monotonous) graphics contribute a great extent. The hardware requirements are also lower than for example in HL2. The announced tactical shooter is RC but any more than a "Hau drauf" game branded Doom or Half-Life. Stupid frontal attack leads especially with stronger opponents to a quick demise. Too much tactics but one should not expect.
