Signal drops sharply

Unfortunately I could not use the antenna amplifier. When using the signal strength and signal quality fell sharply. Since my passive tee without amplifier works much better. I sent back the amplifier. Do not know if defective or faulty design. Have made due to poor performance once measurements, display Philips TV and Dreambox. Each device connected directly to the antenna socket, then with T-piece, then with the Hama amplifier. Just off the can and with tee identical results. Only with the Hama amplifier significantly poorer values. Operating on DVB-C, measured on all channels.
