In Windows 7, the device is detected. On SD cards (tested example) can be accessed without additional driver installation. Normally you should be able to expect for the SIM card. However Chipcard master detects not the device. After installing the supplied with the machine on CD-SIM software Chipcard master detects the SIM reader, but not the inserted memory card. In conjunction with smart card reader master this is absolutely useless. (An old, years ago at Conrad store bought "Chipdrive" sim reader, however works without any driver installation uncomplainingly with Chipcard master; however, sitting at my the "cover", in which the SIM card is inserted, a bit loose. )
With the supplied software to edit the SIM card is possible (as long as there is no shortage, and thus no reason for return before), but Chip Card is comfortable master. Chipcard master used to access the SIM card reader (as reported on the website) standard commands; apparently this hardware does not hold then the standards.)
Conclusion: If you want to edit so that mainly memory cards such as SD, may thus be well served, for SIM card seems to provide only well Chipdrive reasonable reader. Another SIM Reader purchased at an electronics market on site, as well as this one refused to work with Chipcard master, who went under the grace return again retour.
