I was a little hesitant to procure this novel, as were numerous bad reviews, but I do not regret having tried this reading. It's a simple story, one where ordinary people could identify. The writing is sober, chaste, living at a time.
I liked this flood of feelings and sensations provided this escapade in the intimacy of the characters ...
I liked the fragility of Diana face this cruel and brutal grief, Investment Félix his friend and confidant ...
I liked this contrast between Diana and Edward, gruff and boorish Irish, awkward and sullen, the scrutiny and inquisitor. Diane is reminiscent of a small cat, fragile and sensitive, delicate and vulnerable. Edward is strong, imposing, strong man who has everything to be the protector she subconsciously wants and arms which is good snuggle ...
I liked that little by little Diana and Edward stop playing cat and mouse and leave their budding love evolve ... they are surprised, are revealed, and dare drop the shell in which everyone had taken up residence. ..
I liked the open end where the reader begins to imagine instead the author ...
So yes, it is a little predictable, with rose water at times ... but where is the problem?
