Perhaps for these reasons, I regularly read all the adventures of Joe Bar Team, its characters straight out from home Franquin, with a weakness for the first albums and vintage motorcycles, but also during the handover with the generation of kids to mopeds.
Since 2004, nothing! This new album was produced by a new team. There are the fundamentals of the series, but with a sense of déjà vu, the gags often missing teeth and poetry of the time with a little Fane disappeared. The new characters (the instructor, the Marseillais) are not very convincing, their graphics a little too sharp and drawing motorcycles with a tendency to hypertrophy.
Nevertheless this is still very well made, but for the perennity of the series it would be that the authors a little straighten the bar (or handle). no doubt that this album will still be a hit with the family of bikers.
On this occasion, I would like to thank the two-Rousseau gente who visits the two Savoies in July-August for a little less "squeezed the handle" lately and adopted a more civilized behavior. Today we can finally climb the Col de Roselend bike (motorcycle Mecca of pilgrimage) without flowing into the gap at each pass of Ducati.
