To avoid constantly having to carry around a DSLR, I was looking for a little alternative and I ended up in the Canon SX280. No überfrachteter chip; Manual mode and Semi-automatic modes; and largely positive recessions what more could you want? My positive impression: (+) Long 12MP completely out, the camera will take crisp photos with natural-looking colors. Anyone who thinks that he has these photos with photos of an SLR at 400% - on the monitor compare Sorry folks, I would like to not comment further ;-( (+) Manual mode, semi automatics and diverse creative programs and more (+) Despite 20x zoom, the SX280 is not much bigger than a cigarette packet, it fits easily in your pocket (+) The here partly blamed battery performance I can not confirm who wants to buy a camera, and was informed in advance (eg Testberichte.de) know this is the battery performance at 200-300 shots and then have to live with 300 shots were with me with a battery the minimum !!!
My negative impression: (-) The Lightning !!! Actually not the flash itself rather unexpected extension top left, where actually the index finger holding the camera! Unpleasant solved Canon! (-) The cover for the mini-USB port acts not inspire much confidence, one would expect already that this cover does not live long (-) The turn and push-function knob for all settings is a pretty rake celled thing sometimes you learn so involuntarily know menu item for which you did not really want ;-)
My overall impression: A successful take-along camera and thus 4 ****
