Smaller than its predecessors but also better?

Except for my first of a Lexmark was decades ago. I have been self-named only my Canon. They are the best printer in terms of the everyday to frequent Photo Print in my eyes. They are well made, have large Seperate cartridges and offers an excellent quality to a CD printing tray for several years. I therefore prints a lot in us the wear quite high. It never goes the broken printer but only the printer head (something like the engine, just too much to the enemy). Before 4700 I had prepared the Canon Canon Pixma IP 5000, 4500, 4000 and always been satisfied.

The packaging has never changed in recent years, always all good and wobble-free packaging. The box contains:

- CD-Tray (plastic holder for CD / DVD printing)

++++++++++ COMMISSIONING ++++++++++
After everything was assembled (printer head clean, then the cartridge into the printer head) and was connected (USB cable is as always not included) you can begin the installation. Start USB cable to PC, power plug into the socket, installation CD into the drive, installation CD, select recommended installation or Benutzerdefiniterte (If you know what you want) and within 2 minutes, the printer is ready to use.

++++++++++ Printing results ++++++++++
As always I have made several pressure test, including: Text A4, Text + Photo A4, A4 photo, CD printing. About the print results as I am always satisfied. For a printer in this price range absolutely great. Text printing is very fast, the photo print looks very colorfast and lively.

++++++++++ MINUS POINTS ++++++++++
- Still glossy casing, Pretty to look at the first time but unfortunately everyone knows the glossy product has the wipe even the dust by way small scratches leaves. My previous printers (IP4500) saw getretten as over the gravel-place after 1 year.
- No USB cable as always with lying
- No direct Umschlaten (separate button for previous models) between the 2 types of paper feed (cassette or rear). Switching only possible by software possible default setting is cassette.
- Part Long waiting times especially when CD / DVD printing. (The day before yesterday I wanted to print the Christmas photo-CD ... wait until the pressure, 3 minutes, although the pressure for hours in operation was)
- The ink cartridges are smaller than previous cartridges

Once again a very good printer by Canon but of course still is verbesserung- and upgradeable. The printer is a high quality finish and provides good printing results in each area. I do not regret trying to buy !!
