A molding board, one or two cardboard sheets between balance and its packaging, no mention "fragile", nothing. This little box is quick to be taken in my opinion for a book, and so slipped through the crack in the mailbox ... C anyway what I feared.
Finally, although circumspect opening it, I discovered a balance that works, and consistent with the description. It is a little smaller than the idea I had of it, but c as well as its size does not handicap weighing.
As for longevity ... I would not fail to inform you if she disappoints me on this one!

ps: I also use in cosmetics house and I must say it is actually the gram, but I would add ... just about. (Ie it is more assured for the near 2g). That said, for the use I made it suitable.
