What qualifies the author of this review?
He has unbelievable spent many hours with this game.
He saw the whole world, takes care of all the side missions, knows Bitter Black Isle in and out and has the most weapons and equipment to improve gold status.
He has played the game in English, so the non-German name are to forgive.

Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen is an action-RPG. And never was a genre name aptly.
The battle system is full of action, fun and varied. In short: pure fun.
On a scale of Skyrim (Aquarium simulator) to Dark Souls (almost perfect game) this game moved very far on the right side.
In Dark Souls atmosphere and tactical battles dominate. In Dragon's Dogma is about looting, leveling and effective struggles.

Story-technically it is not particularly carved from the socks. One gets presents the typical Japanese transfigured Castle Neuschwanstein flair.
But that's totally OK, because the story is not the focus.

There are 9 classes:
Fighter - shield and sword
Strider - short arc and Daggers
Mage - wand (only class that can heal others)
Warrior - Two-Handed Sword / two-handed hammer
Ranger - Longbow and Daggers
Sorcerer - Battle Wand
Mystic Knight - Magic shield and sword / mace or wand

Except for the Mage and Warrior all classes can play very well. This fall here out of the ordinary.
