While on "The Dark Ride" mostly the mood but it was still very dark and the video clip was settling almost Gothic sector to "If I Could Fly", one has to "Rabbit Do not Come Easy" again more the bright side dedicated. So sprayed the listener already with the opener and the first single "Just A Little Sign" of cheerfulness in the face, as well as the subsequent "Open your Life". Here especially the driving chorus expresses powerfully in the stomach and often reminiscent of the "Better than Raw" disc. Very beautiful are also again the ingenious Twin Guitar solos that are already something like a trademark with HELLOWEEN and unfortunately perished on the last disc slightly. "The Tune" at first seems somewhat inexplicably strange, but that blends in perfectly after several passages a. (Was in the meantime by Stefan Schwarzmann (ex-ACCEPT, EX RUNNING WILD, ex-X-WILD) replaced) Here I notice for the first time how tight Mikkey Dee (MOTÖRHEAD) but here plays the drums and the defaulted Mark Cross stepped in is. This song reminds me of "Rise or Fall" ("Keeper of the Seven Keys II"), but could also be on "Master of the Ring" and "The Time of the Oath".
Beginning with an Indian sitar, falls at the same time to "Never Be A Star". Somehow reminds me the piece fragmentary to individual pieces of "The Dark Ride" disc, especially with regard to the Arrangement. The song has but in any case something special in itself, which one could certainly also very good couple out as a single. Although begins "Liar" at the beginning still very cheerful, but is about to change after a few seconds this already. Thus, the track develops very brutal and violent and thus even reminds strongly of "Push" ("Better than raw") and the cult song "Ride the Sky" ("Walls of Jericho"), without, however, achieve the same cult status, to the "Walls of Jericho" is definitely unmatched! Again breathed oriental begins "Sun 4 the World" (Help, Hip Hop spellings in Metal!) And despite the cheerful song, the song still a slightly melancholic mood. It lies close to well that the basis for this song well may have been the recently concluded differences in the Middle East. Very horny track that probably should get along very well live, also because of the brilliant sing-along choruses.
With "Do not stop being crazy" one has again a very emotional ballad packed on the disk. The one sure has a knack, HELLOWEEN have proved in the past already enough ("Windmill", "In the Middle of a Heartbeat", etc ...). Here I especially like that such additional underpainting using piano and strings, is not excessively pushed to the fore, but only subtly emphasize. The next song, "Do you feel good" seems to me a bit strange as well, but radiates back in any case a good mood. However, the drumbeat in the first verse I really like not here; has what "I play drums for 2 months" -mäßiges. Thank goodness this was but then stopped in the second verse, otherwise I would Mikkey Dee yet slain, hehehe. Cool song reminiscent of the broadcast of "Pink Pubbles Go Ape" and "Master of the Rings". With "Hell was made in Heaven" HELLOWEEN have definitely created a new live anthem that should keep from now consistently in their live set. Very great song, with ingenious melodies, fat riffs and sing-along chorus genialerem yet! Dampfhammer Power Metal, which just fun! These are HELLOWEEN as they should be! "Back Against the Wall" is it turned out a bit darker again and impresses with a drifting 6tel beat. The song has something in itself, which can whiz through my head from time to BRAINSTORM (no, not "Tear Down The Walls"). In any case, one of the most ingenious riffs / melodies contained at all in this song (in the middle part)! With "Listen to the Flies" HELLOWEEN is just before the end again a real hit succeeded, which is also likely to live down well (keyword: sing along). Especially dominate again the melodic guitars. Here it is with "Nothing to say" a little weak point represented, although it has some more moments with the reggae Part enormously, going to the nuts! After all, the peaceful conclusion of Part nor tear something.
But despite "Nothing to say" the album has become very horny. 12 songs of which 11 are hit, the better you could not argue the review! Even with new Cast HELLOWEEN still to Bundesliga of Power Metal bands, which they have proven once again with "Rabbit Do not Come Easy". Let you of the silly cover and title do not interfere merely because here definitely counts is the content and is top notch!
