Solid Deep Purple album of the harder variety, but ...

compared to other large representatives of the old school hard rock, such as Black Sabbath, with their latest album "13", or, for example, Uriah Heep, with their latest album "Outsider", I can only say that Deep Purple contrast, relatively lean cut. Now here I miss just the dynamics and power and the pep of Hard Rocks. Of course you can complain about here, that you can not compare apples and oranges and tastes are an individual thing. But in direct comparison with the competition falls Deep Purple from today's perspective quite from. Deep Purple have potential and I am convinced that they can do better. Therefore, there is of me "only" three stars.
