Anticipation, I've always been more of a friend of the Harvest Moon games and have Rune Factory has always seen more as Stiefmütterlicher offshoot.
Well, it starts nice.
The intro I find a bit long, but nice to look at. The explanation at the beginning is a bit much long at a time and unnecessary, but since you can store it and can start any new Score directly from these memory booth you have to watch it only once and only once read the introduction, if you do not like.
The island on which one lives like me really very well and after a while you find yourself well along well. I find it neither confusing nor twisty created. She looks in every season from quite nice, just de same music always annoying unfortunately quickly. Had me as desired changing music to the seasons.
The characters ... oh what can I say? I think this exaggerated characters you like either or they can not stand. A mediocrity is as hard to find. Something we know already from other RF and HM games.
The agricultural part is quite short here. And at least if you have the summer island it is stressful in addition to the daily tasks (usually one runs through a dungeon to come forward) also to create harvesting and panel-mounting. Because it just simply is quite a lot.
Pro:
- The graphics are certainly not top, but it is beautiful and harmonious.
- One finds actually do always something
- Discovering new islands fun
- The dialogue with the residents are quite nice and do not repeat themselves quite as fast, as it is known from RF and HM else
Contraindications:
- You can not rotate the camera, the really annoying
- At some point you have so much to do that you have to neglect something
- The story is quickly uninteresting
- At some point is to deal only with levels in order to create the bosses
- It is amazingly fast "ready" has all the islands discovered and lifted
All in all I would say: a nice game for in between or if you just want something shallow.
