The beginning was something difficult, although I found the setting (New Bejing) very interesting as many dystopias are indeed located in North America. The further I however read, the more I found myself in this world and could sympathize with the protagonist Cinder. As Cyborg she has in her company is definitely not easy, especially since she lives with her stepmother, who are very reluctant "to take care of you" itself. Cinder has two stepsisters, the older agrees her mother while Peony, the younger, loves Cinder like a sister. Unfortunately Peony ill with the disease, for which there is no antidote and Adri (the stepmother) are Cinder blame.
I think the idea is not so bad and the people are well outlined; Towards the end I liked the book even more reluctant to put it down because it was so exciting. Nevertheless, there was something about this story that I did not like and that has somehow capped connect to the protagonists. Maybe it's still on my aversion to the fairy tale or something else, indefinable ...
Even if I give the book three star, so I'll definitely buy myself the second part, which has so hopefully not too much to do with fairy tales. The story has a lot of potential and I like the structure of the created world very.
