... Somewhere, the price makes unfortunately always felt, this time by a not loud, but annoying 50Hz hum. Polluter is the large main transformer (no toroid). Without these Macke the amplifier could compete almost with my old (and 10x more expensive) Myryad MI-120, the I operate on the main system. I reserve the Denon anyway - the sound is worth. 3-4 meters I hear no hum more (it does not come from the speakers, but only from the transformer) - the remote control is paying off. Still a shame that for a toroidal transformer I would have paid few euros more, and then awarded well-deserved 5 stars (would, could, ...). Oh, in other reviews "cheap" impression of the controls has been raised, I can not find in my copy, everything runs well fed and actually looks more expensive than it is (will later upload pictures). There may be differences in series ("silent update")? The inputs are connected in any case via relays and the volume pot has no hint of scratching.
// Edit: A small "trick" is the auto-standby function, I had to turn off (see comment below.) Because me the signal for my external headphone amplifier "cut" was. Had me an adapter of a flat plug on 2 tinkering to turn the CD player and the headphone amplifier via remote control. Not bad, for Germany would be an earthed socket fitting.
