Customer Review

Almost five years ago appeared a bit strange but very fascinating panel: "The Last Resort". 13 musical miniatures from melodies, dreamy spheres, bolted arrangements and dirty electro beats. A record that inspired me immediately, but no longer let go and again and again pushed into the player 'to this day. Critics hailed the Danish multi-instrumentalist Anders Trentemöller hymn and with his latest tour of the festivals of the world he was from tip to favorite Friends of intelligent electronic music. His new album is linked now to the debut. Will even more. As always, a bit bulky, but poignant, oblique, but also beautiful, the pieces have this time next to the typical, spherical minimal electro sound a kind indie rock aesthetic. Meet howling, distorted guitars to synth carpets, melodic vocals encounter minimalist beats, 80s aesthetics merges with the dynamics of our millennium in a concept-opera, as we know from experimental artists of the 70 years since. Everything seems possible; especially when one has fought his way through the once busy opening track. No music for the nice incidentally Background sound, but a challenging soundtrack for the personal multiplex head-cinema.
