I am a fan of good coffee and has long been looking for a coffee maker that manufactures Cappuccino and Co. without much effort. The previously effective solution with milk froth function was 800 euros and more.
Now the Senseo Latte Select, I noticed for the first time a few weeks ago. Although I was very pleased with the recent Senseo machine, I could not imagine that a machine that costs significantly less than 200 euros, can offer a decent milk froth function me.

The many postiven user reports, however, have encouraged me to buy the Senseo Latte.
I was not disappointed.

First, the housing acts valent and chic, than the much cheaper competition from "Petra". Who buys cheap, buys twice!

Among the various functions of the machine was so sufficiently already reported, so I would like to explain the current negative criticisms:

1) Not enough coffee:

A first for me understandable criticism. "Latte Macchiato" function a corresponding glass is filled only to 2/3. But what's the problem? Here Trickery is announced. I will solve the problem in which I simply auffülle same pads even with a small portion normal coffee. Who would like to have more foam, simply sets on top of it a cappucino. In this way the glass with 250ml fills just such an extent that the level is just below the rim of the glass. The amount of milk required for this is just sufficient. The first version with latte macchiato plus small portion of coffee is visually more appealing than the original version. The workload is not much bigger, because you have to change only the function and let the machine briefly reheat.

2.) Coffee too cold:

Absolutely not understand. I know the problem of the Melitta "My Cup". In the Senseo Latte there this problem, at least not with my. Even a Latte Macchiato, which is not filled with normal coffee, is after the completion of even hotter than any normal person would have a coffee.

3.) Milk tank too small:

If you want to do two latte macchiato, you have to top up, in fact. But even this is not as dramatic as it is partially shown. Just a lever on the vents pull, remove the milk container, remove the lid, filling and all backward. After a short time one makes these handles ruckzuck and as if asleep. If that is too fiddly, should rather stay with soluble coffee.

4) device is too expensive:

I got the unit for 175 Euro plus shipping and within 24 hours Amazon. It is worth it to me every single penny. I already had a 300-Euro-capsule machine with milk container in the eye, but that's failed the taste test resoundingly. The coffee tasted somehow artificially and Kaspeln are outrageously expensive.
When Senseo you can choose from a vast range of coffee and experiment.

All in all it must be stressed that this machine is not intended to serve a 20-strong coffee party. Instead, the machine is ideal for people who just need smaller amounts of coffee specialties on offer here and for a coffee fully automatic machine too expensive and would be too costly. Cleaning must be such machines also. There is a coffee grounds container needs to be emptied regularly and a grinder that will be cherished.
