Square, lightweight, good - but not perfect!

Square, practical, good - that was my first thought when I held this LED ceiling light in his hands. The size is impressive, the low weight all the more astonishing. An advantage because the subsequent installation is a snap, and also in some unstable ceiling still feasible. However, the Assembly is a unique construction, because primarily the attachment is limited to industrial honeycomb ceilings and suspended structures. Visible and / or the private sector, the only possibility of the suspension of the fixed and predefined by hook corners. That may just look acceptable in the rec room above the pool table, but is excluded in normal living rooms. And even then there remains the problem of the attached outdoor transformers.

The first very good impression regarding. The appearance holds a very precise and scrutiny is not 100% level. Here a compromise between cheap goods from Asia and the material properties need to be addressed. The result is per se not bad, but there are some inequalities, differing gap dimensions and small scratches, but always in the acceptable range. In the first trial run of the transformer was not completely silent, and suffered from a certain (though not unnatural) heat. After the fixed installation is at least the acoustic problem no longer perceptible and also the transformer seems now to have calmed.

Conclusion: "You get, what you paid for" is the motto here. There are better panel, so with more brightness, a high quality design, better quality materials on the market, but also cause an enormous amount of additional costs. Then I would have recourse if I want to incorporate an LED light as an eye catcher in the kitchen cladding for example, or at the office would have several hours of paperwork under the incident light to spend. For normal application areas, however, the handle for cheap (not cheap) alternative is fully justified and is supported with a reasonable price / performance ratio.
