I have received the 3D cross-slide on Thursday. The carriage is very stable, well finished and not at all "shaky". I use it with a Manfrotto tripod and the Canon EOS 7D - despite the not exactly light weight of the camera can adjust the slide well. To reach the nodal point, we have opened the bottom two screws and the bearing surface is simply rotated. So you win a few centimeters to so that I can adjust the nodal point 18-270 with my EOS 7D and my Tamron. Together with our self-built aluminum angle I now have a Nodalpunktadapter (portrait) for 60 euros and a good 3D cross slide for macro photography !!! Class
