This device is a fantastic, if you have a lot of stairs in the house, whether made of wood, stone or carpet. The device is very light and manoeuvrable and has enough strength to take superficial dirt. Around the dinner table, etc. Also suitable for crumbs. However, it does not replace a vacuum cleaner because the device takes really only superficial dirt. The battery charge is enough for me, the charging time is quite long (but the device you need not several times a day). The hopper is easy to empty.
Its light weight and portability, it is also well suitable for the elderly (says at least my 91 year old mother)
