Positives:
- 70 watts of power instead of the average only 40-50 and thus probably a better cleaning result
- So go in large almost square tray, even bulkier objects
- Different maturities selectable (90-480 sec.) And time remaining display
- Longer duration than the other devices (max 8 min..), The other one should let it cool a 3-minute to instructions
- On the bottom I could see a fan jumping probably to when heated. That bodes well for a longer shelf life of the device
- Removable cover (with the other of the lid is connected mostly fixed via a hinge)
Negatives:
- Pan not removable for emptying
- No assurance achievable from the outside
- Just a plastic insert for the tub, no CD or Brillenhalter
- The power cable is long enough, but is expected to be quiet for a little longer
- The manual is very short and would have have been a bit more detail (with tips and things to keep in mind)
Speaking Tips:
- Items with sensitive surfaces (such as lens), I would not put it directly on the metal tray. The vibrations, the glass may be damaged! But it's because of the plastic insert.
- The plastic insert I recommend also in metallic parts that respond to magnets. If lying directly on the tank bottom, the ultrasonic transducer or the electronic might be overloaded and destroyed (that seems to be happening during my last device from another manufacturer).
- The tank bottom can be scratched when in direct contact with hard objects, then looks just not look so pretty ...
- The cleaning result is improved somewhat when one breaks the surface tension of the water with a drop of detergent.
- Appear to be possible to clean not so good because they swallow too much sound large solid objects. Since it takes probably a stronger unit.
Addendum:
- I also recommend, each time you use the lid draufzumachen on the ultrasonic cleaner! By ultrasonic sounds it might otherwise have your ears (tinnitus) coming!
