Better Halves is the first episode of star-studded radio drama series about the famous psychoanalyst Sigmund Freud. With Hanspeter Hallwachs as Sigmund Freud, Felicitas Woll as his daughter Anna and Andreas Fröhlich as Karl Gruber, the three lead roles were exceptionally well occupied. Also starring Rolf Zacher include still or Sascha Rotermund heard. The production-related implementation is exceptionally good. Simon Bertling and Christian Hagitte, who are also responsible for the sound of the Perry Rhodan plays, make it masterfully, Vienna to bring to life in 1920.
Only the script is not entirely convincing. Here a little more ingenuity would have been desirable, because the search for the murderer of the young actress is not really exciting, especially since the resolution is hardly surprising. In this regard, feel free to increase with the next episodes even the series.
Better Halves is overall a good first episode of the new radio drama series about the famous psychoanalyst Sigmund Freud. Grandiose spokesman comfort over long distances over the fact that the plot is not quite as spectacular.
