Joscho Stephan has gathered here his hero, who inspired him as a guitarist and served him as a model. And he plays with you on this CD, as if they had not met for the first time (and Biréli Stochelo) but as if they knew each other for years (as Tommy).
Most recordings are first takes, and absolutely genuine. The atmosphere is so immediate 'live' that you expect tert applause at the end, or want to smack yourself. Joscho has therefore incorporated herein not only a typical Guitar Hero CD that Kenner (mostly self-guitarist) want to hear to enjoy the duel of the players and analyze.
Of particular note is that he proves here again that he is underestimated as New Artist known pieces again and again what the (solo) show photographs of Samba Pa Ti and Hey Joe. He is not just an outstanding virtuoso but a musician who is his Gipsy guild long outgrown.
Absolutely worth listening not only for guitarists!
