The Stone Roses (Audio CD)

Customer Review

There are pivotal moments for every music lover. A great moment was the purchase of this Silberling (then still on vinyl) aired in the sense that he was stuck to my ears seamlessly with my Independent corner along with The Jesus and Mary Chain and the Smiths, and yet something new, fresh - a Key experience level and at the same time a musical return to a sound British traits reminiscent of The Action and the early Pink Floyd releases. Straight bass lines, intelligent (and thereby sparing employed) guitar playing a seemingly with Johnny Marr soulmate John Squire and earthly sounds entschwebender vocals feature the image of a band that should have made it hard to outdo their debut (and it also failed). In addition to the original tracklist with my Favourites "I am the Resurrection" and "I Wanna Be Adored" appears CD I addition the epic "Fool's Gold", which could storm the dance floor even die Shoegazer. On CD II demo material supplemented with already published on the "Turns Into Stone" songs the foothills of this magnificent debut album, with the important signature song "Sally Cinnamon" is inexplicably swept under the carpet. That the Stone Roses no really good live band were proving the stage pieces contained, which I could have done without - without Studioreverb is a vocally unreliable Ian Brown just unusable. But outweighs the joy of a successful assessment of a band that not only helped in their midwives function to bear the Manchester rave, but also Britpop bands of Pulp about Blur to Oasis inspired, not to mention the thousands of "individualists" who at their tribe hairdressers to a John Squire hairstyle begging ... Simply outstanding!
