For Style:
The acrobatics is simply awesome. The animations are so great in the first of the three parts that it looks very realistic when the prince only ten meters running along a wall, with no ground under their feet, and then even repel away from the wall to grab a rope, with which one swings to a metal bar from which one arrives with rollover to tab ... The crowning glory of this brilliant acrobatics are short sections in Warrior Within, where you will be pursued by a monster and one for each decision where to jumps, has a perceived nanosecond time. If the section then after 20 seconds is over and the adrenaline goes back, you just think, as I have just done?
If you're thinking, these sections were the pure frustration maker, is mistaken. Although you have to do virtually everything at once, but that's as easy on the hand, so that you can barely think, what buttons you push straight. Although it is said when you install that one should prefer to play the game with a gamepad, but the keyboard controller handed me out completely and I never had the problem that it was not precise enough.
To combat.
The battles look very stylish, as the Prince in his "moves" have to take no account of the gravity apparently. But as he fights not only with a sword, dagger, mace and ax, but also with columns and walls. One can very well be the environment be used towards the fight. There are a further felt 100 combos per game (Except Sands of Time). The problem here is that there are a few combos in all three games that any opponent off safely, making the brawls too easy.
This brings me to difficulty.
Many consider him to be too difficult. I can not agree. The fights are too easily in all three parts and the jump deposits to master after an hour in sleep (Why do we not come but because they look simply awesome).
Only some intermediate opponents in the second and third parts are partly brutal master hardly difficult and without solution.
Here it should be noted that you should play the second part of "Warrior Within" necessarily twice. Once without solution and then again with. Only if you find all the (well hidden) life upgrade, you can see the alternate ending with an alternative and without solution not schaffbaren victory. This end is not only better (grandiose cutscene), no, the third part is based on this alternative ending.
Who takes all life upgrades without solution reaps my respect.
I'll briefly to the story:
That is beyond doubt and certainly one reason why the game is now to be made into a film by Jerry Bruckheimer.
So the prince is not simply the Mr. Clean of heaven, but a thoroughly sinister person. You can learn the prince in the three games to know in all its facets. High-spirited, broken, love, despair, hatred, full of sorrow, etc.
There are nasty villains, beautiful women, an interesting scenario Orient and with the sands of time an ingenious game idea that clears the way for one of the most exciting games free stories. However, the games are strictly linear.
The Storyathmosphäre is rounded off with a great rock soundtrack and beautiful, numerous, rendered cutscenes.
In The Sands of Time, the Prince is spoken by the speaker of Guybrush Threepwood of Monkey Iceland. Then the prince in the first part is still very young, the voice fits very well.
In the second and third part of the Prince will be set to music by the speaker of Johnny Depp and here I must say that this has been really damn much trouble. One of the best games synchronizations at all!
Those who want freedom, great graphics and awesome animations, Assasins Creed accesses (by the way: the same developer).
Who wants to play a game with soul and beautiful animations, should be able to this trilogy not miss. In the History she has earned her place.
