I have played this game now for a few days and am already probably arrived fairly close to the end of the story. And I must say that GTA IV a really great game. The game world is really very, designed with great detail, the dialogues of passersby wondered sometimes a (German tourists, cross and Russian rant: D), or surprise. The gameplay is also well implemented; Nico tilts slightly when running around curves, in car accidents, the Ragdoll effects of people act very realistic (not to be compared with all previous GTA parts). The AI has been largely improved a lot. Turn rivets an enemy is no longer as easy as it looks for cover. Is well done. And the graphics !; really nice and detailed designed. However, what is not so nice to look at are the flicker and aliasing. Good to see the bridge from a distance. For me, however, not so bad. The atmosphere of the city is really very tight. Everything seems much more alive than in the previous parts. One sees garbage men at their garbage trucks driving through the streets. Construction workers at the construction sites and make every now and then someone sweeps of the sidewalk or a couple of sports fans that run through beeen rocks her yoga. The radio stations are partially cool. In Vladivostok FM I find many familiar songs again which I myself always hear ^^. Minus point is, among others, getting used to the vehicle control. So easy with high-speed around the curve as in the previous parts, it is not to think. Even when braking some vehicles it is meant that had 10-year-old tires or broken brake, but oh well. Also not so great is that sometimes what hardly can be seen in dark places in the game and at night. Since I had to really turn up the match the brightness. What are my least favorite of the game, unfortunately, the missions which are really boring and bored over time. Luckily, you can take a ride in a taxi, then you may save at least the constant driving around in the missions. But overall a really great game with high replay value. For GTA fans of course a must.
