F1 2012 is definitely worth a buy rating - despite my only 3 stars - because it's just become another really good F1 game. Some things have also developed considerably. So the new driving feel I like much better. Although the AI charges still sometimes, but so far I have to say that it has decreased again. Routes look wonderful, which I feel the color and Lichtgebung successful. And a prima revised weather system also there. BUT: As nice as I find the parts of the menu, in which an F1 racing car is shown, I really miss my motorhome from a menu in the career very - so Codemasters has really atmosphere sacrificed (to the stupid interviews of the previous games, I find However, it is not too bad). Since the first part of the fans wish for an award ceremony - nil. Fpr me not so bad - for many others already know: The Grand Prix Modis missing. So you can no longer drive a World Cup or completely composed of favorite tracks with his favorite driver. Completely incomprehensible. In contrast, the career then a little thing that annoys me a little: race length is at least 25%. Shorten races I not so like or go short race if you have not quite so much time: Is 'Not'. Too Bad. Otherwise: Some nice new modes, co-op Cup again possible (thankfully) etc. and are not quite as exhilarating "Young Drivers Test" (where safe for beginners nice). SO there 5 * for the game, because the core of the game lies precisely on the track and F1 2012 is really good and even better than its predecessor. Only 3 * there against the overall standings, because Codemasters has just met here some design decisions that are simply botch.
Short to the question: Should I buy 2012 when I did in 2011?
If you only occasionally playing: No. If you have mainly played the Grand Prix mode: No. If you still have no F1: Definitely. As a player career mode, the driving feeling is more important than atmospheric menus: Even a buy recommendation.
I perönlich regret it in any way and it gives me a lot of fun. Still I hope for next year, the Codemasters one or the other decision again thoroughly reconsider and revise for F1 in 2013.
