I use the modem in Austria with a SIM card of "3". All the necessary settings for the Internet were taken over automatically from the SIM card within a few seconds. The PC must be connected only via WLAN with the modem. The WLAN connection quality achieved at a distance of about 3 m in clear line of sight between the computer and modem only around 80%, has to date but this in practice not reduced transmission speeds determined.
When data transfer at the same location in between in comparison to my previously used several years old Huawei Modem worlds. When downloading large amounts of data transfer speed achieved in many cases almost conceded by the network operator maximum speed.
A major weakness of this unit is, in my view, however, the battery. Declared by the manufacturer term of (up to) 6 h can not understand me, but rather the battery is actually already after 3-4 hours yet. Recharging takes to the (white) included USB AC adapter about 5 hours.
Conclusion: a highly recommended device, but the performance of the battery is improved.
