Super razor, poor stand / charger

I have the Phillips QS6160 bought to replace / supplement for my Braun 5775, as I my beard from time to time wearing a little longer lately and me then the shave with the Braun razor and whose film has simply become too expensive.

I have the razor now for over a week and have been a mixed picture:

The razor came packaged in a slightly dented packaging, causing me a little worried at the first glance, a closer unpacking I asked but then firmly fortunately that nothing in the package had gone to fracture.
The razor itself is delivered in a transparent blister pack, which can be opened with just one section of their perforation at the two side edges. In addition to the razor lying in the packaging or the AC adapter, the somewhat wobbly stand (more on that later), two different trimmer attachments, a so-called travel case (cheap plastic bag), an illustrated mini-guide and a warranty extension card (against registration) at.

After me everything was unpacked, I wanted the razor course immediately put in my bathroom cabinet and him first sufficient load (the razor comes partially charged). Here, however, I realized that was being too saved the supplied stand to charge the shaver:

The stand is made of very thin plastic, and takes in the unfolded stand a lot of space in my bathroom cabinet a. I would argue that I have a deep bath cupboard average, but can be the stand with hinged razor place only at an angle, otherwise the door would not move. In addition, the cable for the power supply is very hard and therefore can not turn. If you want to feed the cable a bit nicer, it can happen that the tension of the cable to the stand when the razor is not dependent simply shifts, lifts or knocks.
The shaver ownership on both sides small metal contacts and is hung in the stand just described and should after about 1h eye reload his (displayed with a blue-oriented LED). That means, the shaver does not rest on the ground and sometimes slips quickly from the stand. The stand has on the two sides also with spring-loaded contacts and thus provides a contact for razor ago. How long does this construction, remains to be seen ...

But now times to the main part, the shaver:

The razor itself is comfortable to hold, with both the film side and with the trimmer upwards, the positioning of the Einschaltknöpfe is quite good successful in my opinion.

The two trimmer attachments snap with little pressure and can then be using the jog dial from both sides well in 12 different height positions. In the end there are 10 stages, the stages 1 and 2 were each divided again.

From shaving I am completely convinced:

The foil razor blades are extremely sharp (hope it stays so long) and can be pressed somewhat by a spring-loaded bracket so that the shaver facial contours adapts well. The cap with the films can be easily removed and then rinse them under running water

The long-hair trimmer is also very sharp, however, the tips slightly rounded, which prevents it intersects with the razor in the skin.

My beard was trimmed very short time with the trimmer and then completely shaved off with the foil shaver. A I think super power.

After shaving, the razor can be very easy to clean, simply hold under running water, turn on the shaver and just slightly back and forth. Even the most hair are removed. Briefly with the finger (of course in the off state) help out and already clean.

What could we say in conclusion? The shaver to shave very well, but the supplied stand is an impertinence and is its functionality have yet to prove a long time. Here I am very excited and would then possibly report again.

So if you looking for a good razor with long hair cutting function and can get over a slightly lapprigen stand should strike. However, there is for the above Mägeln from me only 4 out of 5 stars.
