After hearing "Trrrmmmr" on MotorFM, I overcame my general dislike of German music and invited me "poses" down. After about 20 times listening in 1.5 months I can say that I am not disappointed. On the contrary, I am actually quite excited. The instrumentation is varied, even within individual songs. Time hard metallic guitars, bass and piano times that sound to jazz and funk and synthesizer sounds. With "Among Vultures II" and "Frank Organ" also two purely instrumental tracks are. The lyrics revolve around any particular theme, are mostly vague and somewhat cryptic, especially in songs like "Sugar" (a song over cokes?). This means they offer a fairly wide identification basis and keep their nerve potential even with repeated listening in a short time low. This is to a large extent also on unexcited vocals of Frank Spilker, whose voice carries the listener casual, sober but benevolent basically by the images and stories of the album. Despite the thematic and instrumental diversity the album has a consistent style and acts as a unified whole. An inspiring, entertaining listening experience for its lasting pleasure to have 10 more than worth it.
