We use the machine now about 6 weeks - but really happy I'm not!
The coffee is hot and tastes delicious, but the Latte Macchiato I do not like! The Cappuccinatore already provides foam into the glass (after the first did not work but was replaced without hesitation by Melitta), but not as creamy as I have wished. Trying first to use the "Warm milk" and then to foam, do not put the hot effect. Logically, Melitta also speaks in its advertising of "warm milk" and not hot! However, I must say that I as yet no fully automatic've owned and thus have no "milk froth comparison".
What many find fault (Solo, Milk), but I see this machine as an advantage:
# The beans compartment is small: Ok, you have more time to refill beans, but they are losing so not so fast the flavor!
# Frequent emptying of pomace container: I admit it may be annoying, but so is made because at least no mold fixed!
# The water tank is 1.2L small: Again, though annoying off reloading, but coffee for days with slumbering in the tank water I do not drink! I open the tank lid and pour in the meantime to a liter measure!
# The machine called 2 times after cleaning and generally consumes a lot of water: Well, he wants to halt stay clean! ; O)
Even something positive:
# The full machine is narrow and therefore not take up much space
# The cappuccinatore can be removed and cleaned well
# The brewing unit can take out easily and clean (for me was an important reason for buying)
# We can use two cups of coffee or latte refer simultaneously (our latte glasses are larger and fit only when you turn the Cappuccinatore something aside, but it goes well)
# The power saving function - machine automatically turns off and is thus disconnected from the mains
What annoys me:
We have tried many types of coffee and now sometimes a wish to adjust the grind! It is recommended by Melitta, this switch only after 1000 cups (for whatever reason)! However, as a customer I can nowhere see how many cup I have already related. According to information from Melitta this data can be "read only in the work"! Class, you would have predicted it, I must lead a tally!
Well, my husband is happy, I would have - would rather buy the bistro or lounge - despite many negative reviews! If only because of the nice creamy and especially hot milk foam! : O)
