By the way: TD was a few years ago accused by many listeners that all listen to the same and did not contain any new ideas. Attack TD then on an old approach back and further develop, then some listeners are unhappy again. Even TD can not please all listeners right.
It can be seen in the critique another parallel to the albums "Tyger" and "Cyclone": These were in appearance as well (to put it mildly) controversial. For the majority of the public then they fell through (possibly the reason why TD this approach initially no longer being pursued).
However one looks at current reviews of these albums, whose bottom line is usually: "at that time misunderstood wrongly". This raises the question to me more: Recognizing the listener this time equal to what it is or you need back decades to the value seen in "Madcap" and "Paradiso"?
My conclusion: "Madcap" and "Paradiso" are merely more pieces of good music made by TD.
