Freddy, Anne and Nick make a getaway in the small village Siedembuk. Although the inhabitants are quite friendly to them, but quickly discover the three friends a strange stone in the forest, which leads you to the legend of Heinrich Ridder rock. This is a vampire driving to mischief. And already is a new case for the team Undercover ...
Since the launch of "Team Undercover" - which is, admittedly, only three episodes ago - was a steady upward trend can be seen, the "Night of the Vampire" continues in the fourth part. The structure of the result is solid, but not very original or exceptional. A small village, a secret society, a dark secret. For the first creepy scenes are directly designed very exciting and provide an enjoyable introduction to the case of the three detectives. In the further course applies: The story is quite predictable (for the notes on the subject were indeed too obvious built-in), still comes to places tension, especially as the story is atmospherically well done. The big finale is then the definite highlight of the episode, the direct confrontation with the vampire offers a great final. This very atmospheric episode of Undercover team can keep the positive impression the last episode and has some eerie scenes.
Christoph Piasecki, Tatjana Auster and Tobias Diakow can still be heard in the lead roles. Again, a positive trend can be seen, all of them seem fresh and spontaneous. Martin Sabel, narrator of the series, is convincing with its expressive design of its passages again. Really liked me Robert Missler as Carl Schneider, which contributes a great deal to successful atmosphere. Other speakers include, among others Katja Brügger, Karin and Dirk Lieneweg Hardegen.
In terms of music and noise level of the last few episodes has been retained, which is quite successful for a newcomer label. Overall, the story is accompanied rather gently, but just to the exciting places the atmosphere is supported with good effects, so that they work really well.
Of the recent covers I like the most about this episode. Only the diabolical eyes and sharp teeth of the vampire must be seen against the dynamic background, even the strange stone from history has found its place. Again, one of the most beloved small letters to find inside.
Conclusion: Even though the story is somewhat predictable, the eerie mood in many places makes "The Night of the Vampire" to a good Junior detective story.
