As usual trilingual directs a Swiss through this beautiful CD.
As always, Eicher guests into the studio (finn the Hamburg Electric Popper., Calexico trumpeter David Wenk or the American singer Chris Stills) and worked with different producers. Come out are relaxed and more calm songs, at least in the first half of the album - who live by a folky Americana touch and sound like they were recorded in one take. In the second part Eicher is experimental, complex and combines folk with rock and jazz. "Eldorado" but also lives of the texts of Eicher's new songwriter Martin Suter, "White nid what ish" with its minimalist approach is a gem and probably the best dialect song Eicher long.
Wonderful compositions and beautiful music, so you can summarize "Eldorado". Best enjoyed on a summer evening with a glass of wine!
