I have previously constantly a really good coffee, with max. 2-3 weeks old beans (Roest date), from a local roaster, get.
With the same beans, the same freeness etc it was not possible for me in a few months with the 4 cups version should get a reasonable coffee.
Neither Crema was created nor was the coffee delicious.
I tried it with cold water, hot, etc., changed the freeness div. Times and always parallel with the same water / beans / freeness in the 2 cups cooked Brikka (with new seal).
In my opinion, produces the Brikka 4 only bad, often bitter and felt burnt coffee.
I exchanged it and bought another 2 cups variant.
