Well, that much maligned 86s album "Animal Boy" by the Ramones sound in my ears not quite as bad as its reputation, it could always guess. First lot to me the sound on. Anfags still terrible clatter and tinny guitar to hear the bass hardly the drums too loud mixed ... in the end you get used to it, but it remains a downside. The songs themselves are good average, stand out do the pop-rock opener "Somebody put somehting in My Drink", the soldie Rocker "apeman hop" with funny intro, the Reagan provocative song "Bonzo Goes to Bitburg", and the very languishing, Ramones atypical but successful ballad "Something to Believe in". The rest can be heard well, but nothing really special. In overall impression but rather one of the weaker Ramones albums, but still worth hearing.
