The originality of this comic lies in the chosen point of view, since the reader sees everything through the eyes of the young man ... we are literally "in his eyes!" The process produces an elliptical album, entirely turned towards the girl: We only guess the presence and the words of his companion (thus missing half the dialogue, which is a little unsettling).
Here again, as in the taste of chlorine, Bastien Vives gives an essential place to look, to the bodies and attitudes takes time to break down each step ... Even if the subject is fairly commonplace, the author brings a real freshness by challenging narrative codes, and delivers a surprising album, subtle and disturbing, that makes us as close nascent intimacy of a couple.
