"Ride The Lightning" is the album that has all changed. In August 1984, when it comes out, not only music is original, powerful, melodic and technical at the same time, but in addition, the sound again. I had never heard a sound as "big" and audible. The recipe will be subsequently used at will. To me this is the best album of Metallica (Master of Puppets is disappointing for me). After the release of this album, I saw the group at the Winter Palace in Lyon (METALLICA / TANK November 20th 1984) and I can tell you it was something. A piece for your collection.
