Customer Review

The first solo album "Deus Ex Machina", which was then published in Times of Theatre Of Tragedy's "Aegis" (1998) I found made it very interesting and had the duet "3AM" with Nick Holmes (Paradise Lost) a small hit. The songs were indeed pop, but had a very intimate, unique character, which I found interesting. The other albums were brought out after the expulsion in Theatre and founding Leaves Eyes. "Enter My Religion" (2006), "Skin Tight" (2010) and "Libertine" (2012) I found nice, but I felt as too little moving. The only exception is "Silence", the song gets under your skin and there are many the new album! It is very varied, sometimes quite heavy, but always comes Liv's voice super advantage. Stand out the two duets in which the songs are sung as a bonus also of their own, the catchy "Elucidation", the madness ballad "Lotus" and "Oblivious", a wonderful piece of gothic rock / metal! Finally Liv shows again what they really did it! A thoroughly enjoyable album. Each with Liv Kristine / Theatre Of Tragedy / Leaves Eyes something could start should listen to this record! Thank you Liv, and please more of it !!!
