Now all Matt Barlow fans get their way, because he has been resumed in the Iced Earth family. And now, so that is all good again? Just not because the song material is just not strong enough, especially for a band like Iced Earth. Too complicated, complex, lengthy and orchestral works jazzed this album. Sometimes even disoriented ("Crucify The King"), or even almost soporific ("Come What May"). Aside from songs like "A Gift Or A Curse" and "I Walk Alone", which actually still breathing the old band flair, but in mid-tempo come along. Another bright spot is still the thrashy / agressive "Divide And Devour". At Barlow it is not, he sings very well and lived emotionally, but the songwriting is unfortunately mediocre. Who had hoped there would be a return to albums like 'Dark Saga' or 'Something Wicked This Way Comes' is totally wrong and should be better 'Immortal', the current slice of Pyramaze get. Because this is much better, going in the direction of the classics listed and was also used to strongly sung by Barlow ... 'Crucible Of Man' for me is the great disappointment of the month!
