It is one of the typical ant farms, filled with a green gel that serves to feed and where the ants are building courses. The build quality is solid. The light is lit, the lid closes securely, the vents on the sides are too big for small ants. If the equipment delivered is a gap had between gel and wall by desiccation formed, in which a small ant wedged fatal. Thereupon we all gel again watered and used new ants.
These ants had but despite pre-drilled holes in the gel no nerve to go in depth. Since the ants although clearly were lethargic than at the beginning, but did not die, it can be concluded indirectly that they have probably eaten by the gel. But enthusiasm was not among the ants. And "typical" behavior could also not be observed. We loved it disappointed. As well better have a "right" ant farm with earth.
